The Founder
Lara Varjabedian has a global and unique experience in both traditional Insurance and tech knowing the reality of both the Corporate and Start-up worlds.
By understanding the challenges on both sides, she can help startups focus on the right opportunities and support insurers speed-up their game.
She has been with Prenetics - a HealthTech in genomics and digital health solutions - for 2 years and has 13 years experience in the Insurance Industry.
Lara moved to London in 2015 to join Coface Global Solutions - part of Coface Group - dedicated to global trade credit insurance solutions for multinationals where she spent 3 years as Global Sales Manager.
Prior to this, she spent 10 years with Generali Employee Benefits, a strategic unit of Generali Group dedicated to global Employee Benefits solutions for multinationals - Pool and reinsurance to Captive clients. She spent time in Brussels where she was responsible for various European markets, in New Jersey where she mainly gave support on the Latin American markets and in Hong Kong where she mostly was responsible for Japan, South Korea and the Philippines.
Lara developed business across all continents acquiring an understanding/experience of various Insurance markets and lines of business in EMEA, Americas and APAC.
